Problem
Mongolian online shops sell mostly through Instagram and Facebook, answering the same product questions, stock checks, and order-status messages by hand in DMs. Support is slow, inconsistent, and stops scaling past one person. No AI tool existed that fit the local market and worked with Mongolian payment rails.
Solution
Vela AI is a sales assistant, not a generic chatbot. It connects to a shop's catalog and replies across a website widget, Messenger, and Instagram: searching products, recommending items, checking order status, and starting returns through conversation. It auto-imports products straight from Instagram posts, so sellers never re-enter their catalog.
What I built
Multi-tenant SaaS with row-level-security isolation across a 22-table schema (catalog, orders, returns, conversations, analytics)
RAG pipeline: hybrid vector + SQL search over each shop's catalog
Plan-gated AI tools: product search, order status, recommendations, returns
Four live plan tiers (Trial / Solo 49,000₮ / Plus 99,000₮ / Max 199,000₮) with usage limits and automated renewal billing on local payment providers
Admin analytics dashboard (conversation funnel, product views, events)
